Flourish Where the Lord has Planted You

Like a dandelion flower that springs forth from a small crack in the pavement, some people must struggle against many obstacles.  No child determines the time of their birth, where they will be born, or unto whom they will be born, and with life some obstacles are established by life itself.  Flowers must survive where they are planted or where they spring forth, but with mankind there is the freedom to choose.  We have no control over the time or place of our origin, but we do have the power to seek a better life and a better place to grow and prosper once we reach a certain age.  I have great sympathy upon those born into poverty, those born into hardship due to no fault of their own.

Some grow and live in the environs of their beginning and never go beyond the limitations and obstacles inherent to the surrounding unto which they born, but some will seek a better life and will find more than just a crack in the pavement in which to grow.

We all face adversity, and there are times in life when obstacles become so overwhelming that to survive is our primary goal, and the hopes of better fade away into the struggles of the day.  I have been blessed, and I am grateful for the blessings and opportunities given unto me, but I do not desire a life of constant struggles where I simply seek to survive.  I realize that money is important, but I speak of more than wealth, for wealth alone does not make one rich and prosperous.

I desire to grow, and I desire to flourish and to live a bountiful life.  I desire the Lord to plant me in fertile soil and to nurture me and to bless my life with all the beauty that he desires.  There are hardships and struggles, but I am of the belief that a life built upon the Lord God and the Lord Jesus is a life where we do more than struggle with obstacles each day.  I believe we are called to prosper and to flourish where the Lord has planted us.

Flourishing is so much better than enduring so seek the fullness that the Lord has established for your life, and flourish, my friends, flourish.
